PCHAlliance webinar on the Continua Design Guidelines with FHIR – 24 January 2018
Responding to the growing popularity of HL7 FHIR resources among health systems that seek to allow patients to share data, PCHAlliance inn its December 2017 release added references to HL7 FHIR to complete the end-to-end connectivity from patient devices to the EHR. A representative of the Catalan government gave an update of the role of Continua for the connected health interoperability in the region.

Catalonia, the autonomous community in northeast Spain with about 7.5m people, last month announced new requirements that personal glucose meters need to meet to connect with the region’s electronic health record system. These new requirements are based on PCHAlliance’s Continua Design Guidelines.
India is Serious about Digital Health and Standards – 28 June 2017
In April 2017, the PCHAlliance and the Disease Management Association of India (DMAI) convened a high-level government industry dialogue to discuss what is needed to integrate personal connected health devices (including medical devices) with the Indian health system. More than 60 policymakers, industry representatives and stakeholders convened in Delhi for a one-day workshop presided by Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Anupriya Patel.
